Trip Overview

14-day MTB adventure across Nepal’s legendary Annapurna Circuit — now extended to 15 days with a prep day in Kathmandu.

Cross the iconic Thorong La Pass, ride through lush valleys, pine forests, desert-like plateaus & ancient mountain villages. Ideal for intermediate to advanced riders with solid fitness and a thirst for altitude.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Airport pickup, bike check, welcome dinner & briefing. Feel the buzz of the Himalayas as ancient temples and city lights greet you.

Day 2: Kakani Ride & Bike Tune-Up (1,900m)

Morning ride to scenic Kakani ridge northwest of Kathmandu, testing bike and warming up on moderate climbs with mountain views. Return to Kathmandu for gear check, ride briefing, and rest.

Day 3: Drive to Besisahar, Ride to Bhulbhule

Start the ride with riverside trails and warm-up climbs. Pedal past terraced farms and smiling children waving Namaste.

Day 4: Ride Bhulbhule to Tal (1,700m)

Enter the Marsyangdi Valley. Cross suspension bridges as thundering rivers energize the ride.

Day 5: Ride Tal to Chame (2,670m)

Narrow gorges, pine forests, and Tibetan-style villages. Savor warm tea and mountain views as the air turns crisp.

Day 6: Ride Chame to Manang (3,540m)

Gradual climb with incredible views of Annapurna II & III. Feel dwarfed by white giants as your wheels roll through prayer-flag villages.

Day 7: Acclimatization Day in Manang

Light hike or explore nearby monasteries and glaciers. Let your lungs adjust while your soul connects with Himalayan peace.

Day 8: Ride Manang to Yak Kharka (4,050m)

Ride above the tree line with epic mountain vistas. The trail narrows, yaks pass by, and the silence deepens.

Day 9: Ride Yak Kharka to Thorong Phed

Short but tough ride. Early rest before the pass. Every pedal now builds strength for tomorrow’s epic conquest.

Day 10: Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) – Ride to Muktinath (3,760m)

The big day! Summit the pass and descend into Mustang. Celebrate on top of the world, then cruise down moonscape trails.

Day 11: Ride Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m)

Ride through windswept trails and apple orchards. Taste fresh apples and local brandy in the white-washed village of Marpha.

Day 12: Ride Marpha to Tatopani (1,200m)

Enjoy one of the world’s longest downhills. Hot springs await! Let gravity thrill you and hot waters heal you.

Day 13: Ride Tatopani to Beni, Drive to Pokhara

Last ride before driving to lakeside Pokhara. Bid farewell to the mountains with one final glorious glide.

Day 14: Rest Day in Pokhara

Optional massage, paragliding, boating, or celebration dinner. Recharge by the lake or fly like a hawk above the hills.

Day 15: Drive or Fly Back to Kathmandu & Departure

Trip reflections and farewell evening (for those staying an extra night). Take home dust on your shoes, fire in your heart, and stories to tell forever.
